ffxiv buddybot to come?

the new ff a realm reborn is coming out the 24th for preorders. i was wondering do the buddies here plan on release a bot for this new mmo. or atleast to put one in production? thoughts and comments bellow

I no no but 22M preorderes is bout as broad a user base as 1 can possibly hope for

92% of all Locations in America have sold out of Collecters Editions within 48 hours of CE preorder being announced.
Only place that has any left after that was some toys r us --- Cause realy who the f goes to toys r us....
(That is the PC and the PS3 verstions of FF XIV: ARR's CE's)

I know that personaly i am banking on FF XIV to be the only real source of sustainable income untill ESO

there will be more than enough playerbase.

The physical ce's sold out a long time ago but you might be able to find one on eBay or amazon or something but i just got digital

Managed to get quite a bit of gametime in this weekend in between the downtimes and crashes and I think this game definitely has potential and could see some profits being made from a bot.

a lot of my friends and myself especially are eagerly waiting for a good FF14 bot, be it for gathering or grinding. The buddy devs might really want to look into it, people are paying $39USD for sub par bots... if the buddy makes one i'm definitely buying

The market for a FFXIV is huge... They even stop Digital download sells because there is so much freaking people playing. I think that your requirement is there.

Like Codename said, they have no plans for it yet.

No matter how big the playerbase is currently, who knows whether it will still be like this or better in the next 2 - 6 months. I myself think it will and I am thoroughly enjoying, just waiting for a bot myself now. So please be patient, if the game stays populated then the buddy team will look into it and see if they can make a bot!

I fee the issue is putting it out six months down the road will make them no money, By that time there will be other bots out, Hell there's already a few out there and the MMOminion team already have one coming out. To stay competitive they need to be making them for games that are selling well. Look at what happened to their bot for Star Wars it was to little to late I feel.

mmovipers bot already can handle questing there is no profiles though. you can make hotspots for it to walk for grinding on the fly (with a map of your path and mobs near) and it does crafting you can set up routines for classes... so there is a bot that could take the buddys place in ffxiv. it even uses meshes for pathing

even if they come later on with bots doesn't mean they will be worse then others. I mean WoW had many other bots, and then came HB ..... where were all other bots then? still slacking and following what HB already had and still is good at(not with current versions unfortunatly). It all comes down to insights, information, coder skills etc. And the coders on the Buddy team are widely known to be good coders at what they do. If the bot ever comes for Final Fantasy I'd say it would be worth the pennies.

Pretty much feel the same, If the buddy team does come out with a bot though, I'd be willing to pay triple the price! *nudge, nudge*
