Hi guys,

Just a couple of questions on some things that had me concerned about using HB, I just started using it in the past few days.

I am using GatherBuddy on a separate battlenet account to my main and not in the same name as my mains, same PC though on my 2nd monitor.

Can they ban my main (real name) battlenet account if I only use the bot on my botting (false name) account which is in a false name and not linked to my real battlenet?

Can they ban by IP or some other identifiable thing to do with my PC/Internet?

If anybody has the answers or has had their own experience in this happening to them please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

If your main account has gained any benefit from your botting account, then yes they can ban it, however they almost never investigate that deeply, use a V pn and change ur IP every week or so, there are good and cheap ones out there (IPvanish/hidemyass)

what i do is:
1)Botter in a random level 25 guild with alt in my own guild.
2)Mail all ore and herbs or whatever to alt.
3)Alt stores in guild bank.
4)Main account withdraws stored items either to sell or to use.

*bot account uses a virtual private network which changes its ip so it is different than the main accounts ip*
I had bots (used other bot software at the time) banned while nothing happened to my main which had a ton of gold and mats in the guild bank. The guild i had for my main account was not an active guild either.
