Fate starting issue

I set the requirement to 10% to ensure people are actually doing said fate, yet fatebot charges my toon into the fray as soon as they start, often resulting in a death because I am the first one there. Any suggestions? I used to use Destiny v2 to help with this, but the author removed his work.

Unfortunately, that setting is only for Boss FATE starts, it has no effect on any other type of FATE. The only things you can really do in that situation are: better gear, more people, healer 'bo, or moving to a lower leveled fate area/setting the level restrictions lower.

I have my level max set to +1 in zones without a large population for this very issue; once I hit a high pop area, setting it to +3 is usually safe.

Even the old Destiny does not change this, so having that running would not help you. Having the Chocobo Companion set to Healer does help though.
