Fate Bot attacking anything it wants

So while I am running Fate Bot in Northern Thanalan I have come across an issue. When running to Fates the bot will simply pick the first mob it sees and starts attacking whether it is part of the Fate or not. Running to Dark Deeds, it will target the Lunatic Followers and not the Lunatic Lambs and continue to kill them. I have to turn it off and manually run back to the Fates or I will miss them entirely. Is there something I need to turn off? I am just running Fate Bot and Zekken.

This is something that's happened for a long time, I tend to put the 3 part fates on ignore because of it (yes you have to block all 3 parts to be safe). The combat assist doesn't check if the mob is part of the fate or not, this also happens frequently for the Svara chain.
