Ive been making a lot of toons on my main account with Myriad and now I want to know the best way to get at least 675 ilvl without buying crafted gear.

And if you recommend Baleful tokens in Tanaan...then whats the best way to get gear to survive in Tanaan to farm the baleful...

I like running Ashran for some quick honor gear. Then when you have a bit of gear to survive - head to Tanaan. Just what I do anyway :)

What class you bot? If its some dk, monk or paladin then tanaan doable, just with wipes.

Timewalker Dungeons starts today so that is a VERY EASY way to get some 675 gear.

too bad no bot for timewalker?

HazzNyo or Enyo, it cannot be any easier.... you'd have to be the laziest person alive to not be able to just walk through the dungeon as the bot does practically everything else. I don't see there being a bot for timewalking for a good while regardless, if ever.

Honestly Just Running Buddy Teams Free Apexis Dailys got me ILVL 688 Baleful sometime epic are 675 then buy the stones for 20k Apexis upgrade 695 I Did weapon first.

Agreed. Just one dungeon run nets you like 4 or 5 pieces of 675 gear and you'll still have enough badges left to get the other four or five pieces from the other vendor on the next Timewalker event. It couldn't be any easier.

There might not be a bot for timewalking, but on the official dungeonbuddy post you can find modified scripts so the bot can handle those, you can farm badges towards gear or mount,

Best way to gear level 100 characters would be to;

#1: Get to level 100
#2: Do the Bronze Proving Grounds (Dungeonbuddy can do this for you)
#3: Bot a few normal dungeons until you have ilevel 610+
#4: Do the Silver Proving Grounds (Dungeonbuddy can do this one as well)
#5: Bot heroics until you have some half decent ilevel and get enough Garrison Resources to unlock level 3 Garrison, thus getting access to Shipyard and Tanaan Jungle)
#6: Unlock Tanaan Jungle and start doing the dailies and farm yourself some Baleful items. This will give you ilevel 675 gear in "no-time" and hopefully a few will get upgraded to ilevel 688-695 and after a while you'll get enough Apexis to upgrade them to level 695 yourself.

#Bonus: If Timewalking dungeons are unlocked, go ahead and do them using Enyo or the unofficial profiles from the Dungeonbuddy thread and you will be able to purchase some ilevel 675 pieces in no-time at all.

The only problem you might run into is that farming in Tanaan Jungle might be very rough in the start. You should really have 640+ ilevel before the bot is capable of farming Tanaan on its own, all depending on your class and specification of course. If you are rolling healer or a squeeze DPS you might have some real trouble even after getting some half decent 675+ gear. Then I would recommend farming using Enyo and get into a farming group and not relay on the bot doing it on it's own.

Not that your post isn't helpful, but the OP's question was what is the fastest way to gear. If timewalker dungeons are available it's almost hands down the fastest way to gear a new 100 as you'll get 5+ level 675 pieces of gear in one dungeon and still have enough badges to buy another 5+ pieces the next week that they are available.

This isnt my definition of quick.

Timewalking is great for 675 gear for few slots enough to go farm baleful tokens till you can be geared enough for BRF till 680 then go pug HFC.

Timewalking Support

After some fidgeting around, I managed to get full support for Timewalkers dungeons implemented including Random Timewalker Dungeon.

Features:

  • Recycles DungeonBuddy scripts for WOTLK, and BC where available.
  • Dummy CS files for dungeons that wouldn't show in the list (The Arctraz, The Opening of the Dark Portal)
  • Addition of CS files to enable the random queue selection properly. (it was brought to my attention it would queue for specifc dungeons if only the dungeon profiles were in place, bypassing the random option in the blizz ui which I felt could be dangerous, so figured out a way to make it choose the appropriate random id, and not queue by specific timewalker dungeon).

This has only been tested to work with Warlords of Draenor opened. Please let me know if it shows up for all other levels appropriate to do Timewalking (BC is 70+, LK, is 80+).

WARNING: Even though the individual dungeons show up under "Unknown", I strongly recommend that you do not queue for the dungeons this way. The Timewalking dungeons have different id's than the normal versions, which means by queuing for these specifically, you are bypassing the built-in queing system. Since there is no interface to queue for these dungeons specifically, I believe that this can be detected fairly easily. (@highvoltz - If you could modify the DB core to block queuing for these specifically, that would be great.)

Instructions

Extract the contents of the zip file into the root of your HonorBuddy folder. The zip file contains two folders in the current layout of where DungeonBuddy stuff is located based off the root folder since this requires placement of new files in both "DefaultProfiles\DungeonBuddy" and "DungeonScripts" folders.

Your all welcome.
