Fastest to level?

I got a level 51 pally im levling up, And i am just curious what is fastest? Instancebuddy and do dungeons all the way to level 80, Or Mixed (Pvp/Grinding).
Tell me what u think is the fastest way to get 80.

IB all the way until the final weekend before Cataclysm release. There switch to Mixed with only AV, since its going to be an AV CTA.

Depending on your time and needs.


If you have time to sit in-front of your computer every now and then, instancebuddy is clearly the road to take. Mixed can be really great, but very much depends on your battlegroup. As long as your able to just let the bot grind by itself you will see that it is quite fast in the end. But stopping the bot every 10 minutes to tweak something will in the long run just make the entire task really time consuming and slow.


Regarding IB, there are a few instance that bot can run without babysitting. I run some instances bot can do unattended then do a mix of IB+Grind while wait. Which is really fast and the bonus is that char is then always up-to-date on "good" gear from dungeons. + all the achievements your able to rack in during the entire 15-80.

How long u think it takes with a good profile and a level 51 with full heirlooms?

Generally i say 60-70 is about same time as 1-60, 70-80 is abit longer then 60-70. However its really hard to tell as there are many factors. Population, faction, activity, gear, CC, luck. And ofc Profile.



However 60-80 is much easier since you only use a few "good" spots to farm.

well I don't think that long if you have a good grinding profile an AoE CC.

I don't recommend looting until BC or WotLK, which saves a LOT of time

i prefer instances with grind bot ^^ works miracles for me
