Fastest Bot Builds

Hi Everyone I figured I would ask the community about this I have been botting for a while and have tried a lot of builds finishing last league with a lvl 100 EK Nova char which was extremely fast. I have played all the builds listed below and the fastest clearers have been:

EK Nova
HoWA
CoC Discharge
BV (was relatively fast)

I wanted to ask you guys what the fastest builds you have found so far for Harbinger League. I have my Uber Farmer geared out and doing lab runs in under 5 min so I wanted to have a quick map farmer as well.

(This list is from my guide so it is formatted as such)

So far GOOD builds for the bot:

• EK Nova - Got this char to 100 in Legacy League
  
• CoC Discharge
• HoWA
• Anything Melee - EQ, Cyclone, Flicker(have not tried flicker but I'm assuming
• SRS
• Facebreaker Shield Charge
• Blade Vortex - any build is amazing (use vortex routine got 97 mostly with the bot lvling plus some chayula runs)
• Righteous Fire - Ended up being really good because it acts like a melee build
• Blade Flurry - takes some work to get it to let go of the charges but once you get it working it was really good
• AFK Gone Meta - I mean pretty much no brainer here
• PF Uber Lab Runner - Because BV is the main skill works well
• Cyclone Slayer - Works well with the bot but seems to die a lot even with good gear

OK builds:

• Golem builds - the bot is programmed to cast auras first which can fuck you up for golem builds, I had a golem build I used to farm shaper (11k ES 4 flame golems 1 lightning golem) and while the bot could run this it was VERY annoying to set up. In other words I would recommend not running golems but if you want to you can
• Bow builds that need you to kite well - tried the bot with KotF recently again in 2.6 and it performed better with my setup. Not as good as a "melee" type build but not bad

BAD Builds:

• ED + Contagion - The only build I just straight up stopped and sold the gear it was so bad for the bot
• Vaal Spark/Vaal Fireball/Vaal MS - not because the bot cant 'do them' but to keep the vaal skills up the bot stops and slows down too much (UPDATE: Spent 25ex to test Vaal Fireball as well and its even worse than VS on the bot)
• Explosive Arrow is shit with the bot because it doesn't understand the fuse time only reason i even bothered after i figured this out is to farm HotGM
• Any totem build - the bot sucks ass at totem builds in general and I would recommend anything else but this
• As far as I am aware the bot CANNOT do Specter builds at all because the bot doesn't know the correct monsters to make into a specter
• Animate Weapons
• Abberath's Hooves - the idea of this was fun but the bot doesn't understand the concept of just walking through mobs, it wants to attack them.

 

[Eightbyte]

Cleave Gladiator is decent, just it casting enduring cry like in the middle of a pack ruins a lot. Might need an alternative. Also a lot of skills feel delayed, guess that can be edited in OldRoutine files.

Spectral Throw Raider Last league - Lvl 99
DW Berserker Sunder Harbinger League - Lvl95
Frost Blade Raider Harbinger League - Lvl92 and still going.

In terms of death Ratio, my observation was the bot seldom dies doing Physical Builds whereas anything elemental build you need to stack tri-res + hp and still die to random reflect Rares/Elites on the maps.

I wish EB can add a chicken feature to skip the map totally when a RARE monster that has a specific affix is spoted at a distance or spawned in essences and strongboxes.

Pretty sure thats how chicken works now. If you chicken out of a map because of an NPC, when you log back in you will create a new map.

Explosive arrow was pretty good last league. I even posted a modified routine here on the forums.
Quick and easy red maps with the right build.

I haven't bothered to update it since it seems EA is nerfed/unpopular after the expansion - but I'd like to hear anyone prove me wrong

Pretty sure thats how chicken works now. If you chicken out of a map because of an NPC, when you log back in you will create a new map.

Doesn't support with monsters with specific affix.

I am playing a Dark Pact build, havn't gotten around to buying a license yet... might wait a bit longer then try it out. I think the mechanics of the skill should work fine. The only improvement would be if a unique mob to place the wither totem, other than that it face rolls everything.

Could also try flicker stike, havn't done that build in many leagues.

1. Lvl 90 MF ele wander to stack dat currency - 300 IIR / 100 IIQ not including biscos - this things pulls in 1500+ chaos / day in raw currency.
2. Lvl 96 Doomfletch prism pathfinder with blink arrow for movement- Used all that currency to fund this one. Absolutely OP, 4.3m shaper DPS. 1 shot everything else on any tier map with LA. 7.4k life, haven't died since lvl 68 and that was before I had Kaom's. Fastest build i've ever botted with hands down.

Are you using weapon swap with barrage? I'm interested in the Doomfletch build

Nope, didn't see a way to handle weapon swap with the bot. For botting, I use +2 barrage Tempest Binding, i throw LA in that for a pseudo 6-link LA. Barrage stays on 6L doomfletch. Set barrage to melee skill and bosses just get deleted. I wouldn't use abyssus for botting, its definitley going to lead to deaths. Tempest binding gives you much more survivability, and u won't notice the dps decrease at all because it all still gets one-shotted.

I really wish this bot had a "use x attack on x rarity monster" So as soon as it runs in to a unique, it uses barrage instead of doing it by range.

Do you have a guide or PoB link for that wander build?

I would also be interested in the MF Wander because I have already made the char most of the way.

I'm Assuming the build uses:
Bisco's Amulet
2 Ventor's
Goldwyrm
Perandus Belt
Missing other stuff I'm sure

But I would assume a Windripper Build would be even better...unless I'm missing something major

My latest build is a KB pathfinder. just got to 85 so ill let you know how it goes. currently at 2:37 per map but i still need to tweek flask settings as its not using quick silver as often as i would like.

have a 93 KB wander it is ok not amazing but Im going to try the MF stuff i said above...we'll see

the kb was ok but its hard to get the bot to switch to barrage on bosses because sometimes if the boss spawns mobs it will switch back to kenetic blast and also sometimes it uses barrage in maps instead of KB even though i have aoe settings in bot to use KB so it slows it down a lot at times. I have switched builds but maybe if somebody made a custom routine it would have been nice.

also it fails on the mobs that have the protection orb that you need to be inside to damage them. it just sits at range trying to kill it until we die.


i think it could work nicely if we had a routine to say #IF Mob.Unique then use barrage otherwise use Kenetic Blast.

doesent that one also require you to switch to barrage for bosses? i did see a build that used tornado shot / barrage but maybe yours is different.
