What will it farm?

Where will it farm?

in the south eastern region of the Sulfurion Hill​

Why not around the whole place?

because this would mess it up - "water is not deep enough" will come up most of the time​

Does it have a repairspot?

Yes, but you shouldnt need it - its avoiding all mobs around the place, except Ragnaros if you are unlucky​

Does it hae mailbox?

No, its too far away and stacks of volatile fire are 200 each - so shouldnt need it either​

Are there Blockspots?

Yes, one around the Instance entrance, for not being seen by others yo much​

Any problems, to know of?

Yes, there are sometimes spots, where the bot cant navigate to or ist standing in lava, but it should either fix it by itself within a minute or its blacklisting it and trying on later, most of times it works on the second attempt​

What do I need?

I recommend using PoolFishingBuddy currenly the latest version working is available here: PoolFisher 1.1.5​

any recommendations / comments are appreciated, this is an extremly good location for farming this - and you will not have crap in your bags.


Update: now fixed the grindarea-->factions problem

- no crap
- didnt die
- didnt get stuck
- did get close to any mob

Hey, sorry. this is due to my very bad scripting. I didnt know this yet.
I will fix it 'til wednesday, as i am on the road 'til tomorrow. otherwise you can open the xml file by yourself and wrap a <grindarea></grindarea> around the whole block where hotspots, factions, avoidmobs and so on is located.

@ theatristformallyknownasG: i do this mostly twice a day and do like 1000g/d - so this is good business. but be aware of the people, waiting on the instance portal

Please look here - I've wrote i very easy-to-understand instruction on how to do it. if you still dont get it, please post in the PoolFishingBuddy thread, as there are people that can help you out.

Now I got this working, but I dont know if I'm doing something wrong because my guy often tend to land in the lava,
resulting in not being able to fish anything...water walking elixir aint working either on the lava.

Happens for everyone or do you have any suggestions?

Yes, it is true that it is landing in lava sometimes.

there are 3 ways out of that:
1. babysit it and correct if necessary.
2. wait til i found a better route for flying around the place, so that the chance of landing on land is higher
3. let fishingbuddy do and see that it will do as many attemps as you configured to get to a "valid" fishing location

i am already thinking of either flying on the "outer circle" of the spots or eaven let him wait over the middle of the lake. it both has cons and pros. i am still trying to find the best option so keep having a look here from time to time.

alright. no worries, I dont want to be negative, it works good even though he lands wrong sometimes.
Got quite alot of volatile fire since started, but was just curious if the bot does the same for others :>

Yeah I have to say that if the bot didn't stay in the lava 80% of the time this would have been great.

Where do i find this spot? profile looks good, but dont know what zone it is in

This profile does nothing but go in lava for me. Then ends up blacklisting ever pool and just flys around and around over and over skipping all the pools because none of the hotspots are marked on land I'm assuming.
