Farming at lvl 77?

Just wanted to run an idea by you guys. I have been leveling a DK with HP, currently lvl 76. This toon is on a different account than my mains, runs on my home media center. My question is what you all think about farming at lvl 77 rather than 80. I was thinking today that I rarely see lvl's under 80 out farming but when I do I just assume they are lvling either herbing or mining. I wonder if it would be less conspicuous to farm at 77, assuming I have Northrend flying and a high speed mount? Other than the possibility of an increase in being killed by other players on a pvp server, a possible drawback, what do you guys think?

I lvl my toons to 78 (mainly shamans), get them the boe blue pvp sets and start them farming. They don't have any problems with mobs even in Icecrown.

That's exactly what i do. And when they get to 80 (with GB) i get them neck, rings, weapons and the cheaper darkmoon trinkets

Does anyone know if there are any drawbacks to farming at 77 rather than 80? what are the pros and cons?

Atm im herbing my DK for 2 weeks now... no cons.. only pro's; imba dps + 0 deaths (except vs horde )

Isn't the blue pvp set req lvl 80 to wear ???

thats the one I use for my ele shamans. There is one for every class/spec to my understanding.
