Farming and Gearing question

This is more of a general question on farming and gearing.

1) How does everyone seems to find their upgrades? Farming normal or torment 1 or higher?
2) To gear a barb should I be using item list for loot or using trinity loot score?

If anyone could provide some comments, I will really appreciate it.

1) Never normal. Farm on the higher torment you can.

2) At first, keep the legendaries. Then, choose a build you want and be focused on it. I use item list but I keep all the ancients for personal choice whether I keep or not.

No. Farm at the difficulty you can handle perfect with your gear.
Use speedfarm builds for gear farming in nephalem rifts. The faster you can clear a rift the faster you can get deathbreats and mats -> reroll items.
You shouldnt take much longer than 5 minutes for each rift.

You mentioned that It should clear rift in 5 minute or less, but my db seems to run around endlessly trying to find a way out until it simply gave up and re-create the game. Does that happen to you guys too?

Lastly, using item list to farm should I only check the specific item and also the stats I want or should I just check everything in the list?
