Far too obvious

I did an experiment tonight where I ran BGbuddy while watching a movie, and periodically checked in on it to see what people were saying. Every single BG for about an hour straight, all anyone in the BGs talked about were botters. My character was named numerous times, as were others. BG botting is so completely obvious to anyone watching, I'm a little scared to do it from now on. There's usually 3-4 of us who all run together, back and forth, with no real purpose.

Is there any way for profiles to be written that are more random? So 4 people aren't all running together letting EVERYONE else in the BG know that ' hey look at us, we're botting '?

What's everyones opinion on this, or solution?

opinion = i agree totally / solution = they are working on new bg logic.

we are working on revamping the battleground logic, so far AB and TwinPeaks are pretty much done, but they are adding to them as well.

just be patient its being worked on. in the mean time feel free and try and edit them.

I agree with you and they are on the problem.

Allthough, I've never been using BGBuddy due to it's risk of getting reported,
only using it if I'm at the computer watching a movie on another screen so I can see what's going on.

Awesome, I had no idea they were being revamped.

i like running AB and EOTS, never had a single problem. most people dont care

The solution is to not 100% afk the profile. I used bgbuddy for my entire honor grind, while I was watching my PC working from home. I was able to manually intervene anytime the bot tried to do something stupid, such as crowd around flags in AV or eots.

This mixed with some of the PVP plugins available makes it so you are much less likely to be reported. You'd be surprised how far manually jumping or swapping targets goes.

If you never say anything in the BG, you may be a bot. If you run around aimlessly, get stuck on objects, and let the flag carrier run right across in front of you without being noticed then you are obviously a bot. I never AFK when I know that a team of others are counting on me. AFK botting a battleground just seems immoral to me. I will walk away from my bots when I'm questing, but not when it's a BG. If something goes wrong in a BG, you will be reported by at least your whole team and possibly the other team as well. So, it's not just immoral but it is also dangerous.

decent fail is logic for temple of cotmongu, at the fresh start, bots just try to go throu closed gate, there is no start pause :( this way we can see who is botting while bg is not even started lol

AB seems o work a lot smoother.
i run nothing else unless i'm babysitting.
other conquest type ones they get stuck, ignore people passing them, or just kamikaze into 10 of them around a flag by itself.

on that note, to all you wonderful coders working on BGbot
Please fix:
1- capping flag when someone's on it already. (just idk. if (person.flag(5yds) == true) call Offense/DefenseLogic();) something.
2- running allah style into a graping. (you know. like my mage will blink into 9 people. and promptly get raped.)
3- an idea was that bg could have key word detector that will call a function- say in bg chat everyone is screaming "FARM" then it will call DefendLogic(Farm);

these three things are what make sit most obvious to me, as i babysit my bg bots, that they are bots. with these gone, i believe bg bot could fully be afkable with enough beta testing. (of which i am willing to be part of)

thanks =D
