the first link is because users aren't allowed to download out of the archives section, everything thats there is out of date and wont work with the current version of honorbuddy.
the 2nd link, is pretty much the same deal, almost all the links on that blog are outdated, or projects that are no longer in service.

theres nothing wrong with your privileges.
