Ok, put your minds at ease, if this was a ban why are five of my pokemon still holding down the gyms in my area? if my accounts been suspended or deleted surely they wouldn't still be in the game, this for all you know could be a 24, 48, 168 hour ban. Maybe they're locking accounts while they are looking into the fact that apparently some of you have been pedaling around on a pushbike for the last 48 hours without a break.
No one knows if this is a ban or not, when you get a Email or a message saying your account has been terminated for breaching the TOS of the game then its a ban, until then can everyone stop spreading and making up rumors Niantic have released no information about the server fault and to be honest they've never been exactly on point with the game as of yet.
Every story you read and post from game websites or Pokemon fan sites are guessing.. Not everything you read on facebook is true!!!
