Fail background mode...

Hi, with this new thing that don't allow us to minimize WoW anymore, I just cannot bot anymore while working on my computer for the simple reason that I manage around 20 windows and I won't be able to keep WoW open and it will always stop.

I think this new thing has been added because some computer cannot handle the background mod or something like this, so... why don't you make a check and allow computer that can do it just do it ?

Because this thing for me is exactly like a non-background bot... and I guess many botters think the same.

Please think about.

ADD - Honorbuddy will now automatically bring the WoW window to the normal window state, if minimized. We do not support WoW being minimized on certain versions of Windows, so this is to avoid bug reports.

is not enhanced, I think a lot of guys will stop using HB... (me too, 3 lifetime inside...)

use dual screens...

i dont see the big issue. i put my bots on, drag em to the far right screen, then open other stuff drag it over teh bots, and they work fine.

Yes you're right, but I keep switching from 1 window to another and with about 20 open windows, there is ALWAYS a moment 3-4 minutes where I have to make WINDOWS + D to reduce windows or simply minimize it without wanting... And then have to reboot WoW & HB. I do it about 5-6 times per hour what is shit for me...

There's a reason why you can't minimize wow. or get another monitor, having an extra really makes life easier especially if you need to have as many windows open as you say.

I use a free virtual desktop program called Dexpot, it's very good.

You can't run HB when it's minimized anyways even addons like auctioneer stops working.
WoW enter some kind of *power saving mode* to save resources when you minimize it, just deal with it.

Hehe i used a VM back in the glider days to get 'background' mode even tho i wasn't paying for elite

also, don't throw the "2nd monitor" idea out of the window ... even an old cheap 15-17" LCD monitor will work (here on post they sell for 10-15$ each)

I ran all my botting accounts on my 3rd monitor. Also I made them all about 2.5in X 2.5in big. So I could fit 10-12 accounts on one screen easily.

*cough* Sounds like somebody knows him a little too well...

I kinda like the whole no-minimizing for HB, I can hear the bot nicely while playing Counter-Strike:Source so I know whats going on (I only have one monitor).
