Extreme Lag Issues with the bot+game.

I am running two instances of WoW, one 64-bit and the other 32-bit, I don't peak 3gb of memory with both instances running. I am using party bot with RaF. Today I got on to do a few levels and the bot instance is extremely laggy, I damn near die on trash pulls. Like I said, I've had days where the bot preforms flawlessly, nut then days like today seem to suck. I don't understand why it's not consistent with session after session??

Here is my log from today.

Hi, Reddewman, and many thanks for that log.

The lag is being caused by the unbelievable number of exceptions in your log. It looks like they are being generated by a very trivial function—WoWObject.SafeName. This should never happen, and its something very low level that is awry.

For the first pass, could we get you to reboot your PC, and see if the problem goes away?

If no joy, please see if you are running any programs that may be interfering with Honorbuddy. This article will help you identify the possibilities:
[post=1292171]HelpDesk: Programs that Interfere with BosslandGmbH Products[/post]

If still no joy, the last thing we can try is to do a "clean install" (parallel to your existing installation), and see if the problem will manifest there. Instructions for a clean install are here:

If you are not off-and-away after all of these steps, please show us a fresh log from the clean install.

cheers,

Hey chinajade, I did manage to restart my pc and try it again, still I have the extreme lag issues, it's only when I hit start within HB that the lag issues are discovered. I did look through my addons, but the only addon that I am running with these accounts are Jamba. I did manage to do a fresh install and ran it for a while despite the lag issues, here's my log.. I've also tried setting HB process priority higher and still the same issues. I will try and disable jamba and see how that works out.

I did disable Jamba in game and still encounter the same issues.

Hi again, Reddewman, and thanks for the log.

I am completely flabbergasted at what is in this log. First, it looks like the "clean install" we asked for. But, that we're looking at makes no sense:

  • You appear to be using PartyBot:
[00:09:54.455 N] Currently Using BotBase : Party Bot

  • But, DungeonBuddy appears to also be running:
    [00:10:06.071 D] [DungeonBuddy-DEBUG]: 2 new players joined the group
[00:10:06.072 D] [DungeonBuddy-DEBUG]: There are 2 members in group including myself

  • And you appear to be engaging another player:
[00:13:18.579 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy
[00:13:18.663 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:13:18.664 N] [Singular] EnsureTarget: no valid target set by Party Bot -- skipping 0 spell priority
[00:13:18.672 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy
[00:13:18.678 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:13:18.767 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy

  • Also, Singular and PartyBot can't seem to agree on what the target should be
[00:17:05.343 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:17:05.411 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy
[00:17:05.419 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:17:05.500 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy
[00:17:05.511 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:17:05.520 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy
[00:17:05.547 N] [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to TargetList mob Enemy.Warrior.B816!
[00:17:05.638 N] [Singular] invalid attack player Enemy.Warrior.B816 not enemy

My guess is its this last issue that is killing your frame rate.
Can you tell us what area you're in? Perhaps its a target-rich environment, and there is an issue with 'target overload' in PartyBot. You might also try switching to RaidBot, and see if it has the same problem. If not, that at least isolates the low FPS issue as being cause by PartyBot.

cheers,
chinajade

Thanks for the response. This was happening while I was running MGT reg. I've also noticed while just standing outside of goldshire I'll have these lag issues. I will post a video of the lag issues if needed. I have also looked through my process and ended anything that I didn't need open.

I will try out raidbot and see if that helps
