Explanation rather than just saying to white list would be appreciated... Varpes.H!cl

Hi,
the support section is full of ppl wondering why PokeFarmer is now being reported/deleted as a trojan (Win32/Varpes.H!cl).

And all we get is, "False positive, just white list it in your anti-virus software."

I understand that often ***** program get false positive, the goal of the prog is to "corrupt" a file to make it behave differently.

But i dont see what PokeFarmer have to do, that would get it the same treatment.

I understand HonnorBuddy bot have been around a while, its a paid program, and there would be no reason for them to infect us.

But i would really like some technical re-assurance on the why its happening.

I get that if willing to give answer, your gonna be limited in what you can share to protect your code, but there must still be something you can share.

You can get an explanation.

Pokefarmer was cr***ed a few weeks ago. If everyone is using a cr****ed version we cannot pay our bills. Without paying our bills Pokefarmer would not exist.

So what did we do?

We protected Pokefarmer. Viruses and Trojans uses Protection Software too. Anti-Virus Systems cannot see a difference between a protected good and protected bad software. This is why it just marks everything that is protected as virus.

I explained it with very easy words, without getting into detail and I hope this help you to understand.
