Exilebuddy has stopped working

You need to follow the installation instructions without skipping any steps. Specifically this part:

Exilebuddy has been updated to use .Net 4.6.1 and the VC 2015 redist. Please see this thread for more information: Buddy Bots Prerequisites Update. An installer will be added for the Release version once it is ready.

Update your .Net and VC redist from the links provided.

I'm having problems installing Visual C++ 2015 on Windows 7 Ultimate, the installation does not complete and when it does it bugs out. Any ideas?

Check your windows version after download visual C++,

32 bit for ---> x86

64 bit for ---> x64

Everyone needs the x86 VS 2015 runtime no matter what OS you're on (because GreyMagic itself is an x86 DLL used on either OS).

Make sure your Win 7 install is updated, I believe it requires at least SP 1, so do a reboot, run windows updates and stuff like that.

I don't think my windows updates work either... I've been trying all sorts of things for hours. Is there a way to just manually install Visual C++? Like copy and paste style

yep, type vcredist in google and you'll find useful stuff.
