This account is kinda fresh, its been about 10 days since I started leveling/farming.
I leveled with Questing and leveled professions with professionbuddy.
Started farming.
As usual I appealed the ban and its been reduced to 72h. Interesting thing is before the suspension expired, I received another answer to my ticket

Greetings lathrodectus.

My name is Game Master XXXXX, and I have made the final review on your account suspension case.

And as far as I can see you indeed were using a 3rd party program to automate your characer - FARMERCHAR(farm), AUCTIONERCHAR(AH sells) - movement and action. This is not allowed in anyways within the game.
Such was your case the 72 hours and the Final Warning had been applied correctly and this will not be overturned from your account until expiriy which will be at : 2012-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
Furthermore any gains that was obatined thru these actions will be removed from all of your characters.
If you wish to see the evidences present in this matter please contact our Legal Department here:

We now view this matter closed, so please do not send in more tickets in this case as the outcome will not change.

I have never seen an answer like this one before. Any ideas?

Probably got hit by player reports, your actual supervised time compared to time spent online is way out of whack and is probably resulting in your toon doing stupid shit and being watched.

I'd suck this one up as sending in more tickets will just piss them off after being told that this matter is closed.

Try to supervise what your bot does over several hours while running what you use to see what might be looking bot like but in general /time played is probably a huge indicator.

I'm botting many toons, watching them closely while leveling to speed up the process. Also I get buddycenter notification to my phone (via Notifio) when I'm away checking every whisper replying most of them. Also checking screenshots when i get back.
This account is not even farming for a week now. Its on a medium server, getting that much tickets to undergo a deep investigation is improbable.
Sometimes i spend my whole day watching my bots leveling them setting up new accounts is almost a daily routine to me. Your argument, based on a wrong assumption, is invalid.

Furthermore its only a report, I'm not looking for advice nor any guidance on how i go the ban or what to do now. As I already indicated at my post, the part that I'm surprised is the answer to the ticket. I have never seen an answer like this one before. I got many bans some accounts took 4 different bans before going down.
BTW did you really read it to the end? I dont think so..

not only that but mix up your multi-profile, if your running the same profile for 18 hours, people are going to notice you doing the same thing over and over for hours on end. the key is to mix it up, dont only farm, but toss a BG or an instance in there every now and again even if its just for fun, not only does it break up the farming, but it make it look a lot more human. since most people will get board with farming or farm while waiting for other stuff to happen.

Send a letter to their legal department and see what you get back. Seriously..

I set a very long schedule set at HBRelog, mixing some BG and farming with idle times inbetween not forming a daily pattern. I check from time to time for conquest points to upgrade gear. Not exactly mimicing a player. I gave a few days break from time to time, sometimes one sometimes 2-3 days. breaks are totally not on a pattern. When I fire up HBRelog all accounts has a 14h(+-4h) runtime per day including battlegrounds (so max 18h/day). I think I'm gonna quit using multiprofile so i can add mixed mode to my schedule. I really dont care about the bans that much i ost 10 accounts at the last 2 weeks.
However this answer is very disturbing.

Yeah, that whole "...if you want to see this proof, please send a letter to our legal department..." statement is kind of disturbing, even if it is an empty threat. It just makes you sit there and think. It's like one of those "things that make you go ... Hmmmm!"

Dude, contact them! Worst case you lose an account, best case, you gain some insight into what got you caught.
The tradeoff makes it a no brainer IMHO.

Also the wording / grammar is pretty horrendous. If I got an email like that i would have thought it was a scam quite frankly - its like a 10year old whom English isnt their first language wrote this.

that was obatined thru these actions..... see the evidences.... legal department.... what a crock of shit. If you got this email i would request that the GM goes back to education to retake his exams. If you wrote it yourself, that would explain the broken English / bizare content of the letter so feel free to fess up if it was indeed you and not blizzard that wrote that.

They use templates so this is quite a unique / suspicious situation.

aha one thing - did you google translate that letter? that would also explain alot of the discrepancies.

Nice catch, unfortunately its not me. I just copy-pasted the answer from battle.net not from an email. Only edited the names.

PS: I looked up to dictionary to see what "fess up" means and then ding! "con-fess", lol.

Edit: Its the original answer, not translated.

So GM is telling you that all you need to do to be provided with evidence is to send them a mail? Why not go for it, they can't punish you for it, they've made a conditional offer to show it to you..

I agree, I can't really say too much about being banned from botting but when I was younger I would always get my account banned due to it being hacked by what I presume to be a Chinese farmer. (One time he sold all my gear and was in a farming spot hehe!). They where usually handled by my father so I don't really know what exactly the process was, but I've had my account closed at least 4-5 times and one time perma-banned because of this, all of the e-mails I've received never sounded anything like this. Honestly if you try to be professional, and make such a threat, then use very intelligent grammar, and wording to be serious. Not capitalizing and so on and so forth is really lack luster IMO. Most of the time when I type I seem more professional then the GM's I talk too. I hope I gave anything to help.

Obvious fake or blizzard hired a high school dropout.

GM or you misspelled 'expiriy', spelled through using thru.

It's either a fake, or the GM needs to go back to elementary.

Also take a look at 'obatined', should be obtained.

Show us pictures of this ticket, please.

Blizzard would never send out a letter with such horrendous grammar and spelling. It was the 1st thing I flagged in your claim.

Edit: Or obviously they would as your SS suggests.
