Everyone who survived banwave - is it a good idea to talk about it here?

I survived the banwave but i don't know if its a good idea to collect every information here. Like

i am not banned, i think the main reason was:

- i was offline during banwave
- i used HB rarely
- my pc was clean/never had a ban before
- i only use XY
- i mixed botting with legit playing
- young account
- i just had damn luck


Well, i am just curious how many active botters got hit? 40%? 60%? 95%?
 
I am pretty sure that 100% of active hb botter's got hit, what i do find curious is that I have an old account which i mess around with botting on (my personal bot) and it has not been hit - ever, yet it uses methods almost identical to how HB used to work initially (back in the day) when their bot was out-of-process and they used alot of assembler - I can't say more here without blizzard being able to find that code in seconds and finding a way to block it - but feel free to PM me for the link.

I would delete all traces of honorbuddy from ur computer or move it to a usb =O Bnet launcher having too many suspicious activities for me right now, if you havent been banned.

Not me. Been botting just about 18/7 for the last 3 weeks. No ban here
 
I think everyone who was botting during "scan process", was banned. No ban on my other botting account that was offline since october.

well i mean theres people saying they started botting 3 days ago and they were banned.
 
I started playing again 5 days ago, first fully geared my first toon on first account, then did 1 night on other account, mainly used first account CR for arena. The first acc got banned, the second didnt get touched.
I think they just do random intervals of scanning. Or maybe its because my bnet acc is always logging in automatically for my 1st acc and I only go to 2nd account if I logout ingame and log back in (not through launcher).
 
just face it guys - blizzard have warden which detects memory injection .;All your theories and shit about clean computer, running off USB sticks and using VM ware is garbage. Just accept it was detected and move on with your life. It's a risk you take when you *****. OFC blizzard are stamping down on honorbuddy especially in PVP and BGS as it was ruining them.
 
Scanning for injections is not an easy task. Otherwise they would just scan known offsets and correct the bytes here making bots useless.

I just seen this and figured id chime in. My HB is SSD and My WOW is spinning not on same HDD and ive been hit twice. Im a 1-2 hour a day botter. Garrison,Dailies,Stuidio60Bundles 90% of the time near PC with sound warnings on. Just saying they know what they are doing. they have the money and power to figure out HB. Boss-land just had t piss them off enough for them to use it.

You can pretty much rule every theory out HB is being detected like any other third party program blizzard wishes to look into, bot at your own risk does not matter what you do, eventually you will be caught. I want to risk my account so I don't care now.
 
I had an account I hadn't even used since it got unbanned banned for 18 months.
 
They can bring bot back online and people must bot at own risk. The bot is detectable and Blizzard can decide when to banned you whenever they wanted. They have showed it. If you log into your wow account and bot on it that account has been marked for botting and blizzard will decide when to bann. If your account was not banned congratulation and bot on or not. i will just bot on on the other accounts i got left till all of them are banned and call it a day.
