Evading unit sticking

I just ran into an issue where the unit was evading but still attacking the character (which was a quest required mob), causing bot to pull and still evade ground attacks and heal itself. Is this not a way for them to notice bots and get the accounts banned? Should we use the bot until all issues are resolved before we carry on then?
