EU + US clients at the same time?

Just like the title says. Is it possible to run both EU and US at the same time? I've tried without success, is there any way around this?

yeah I got EU and US accounts but you need to download 2 different clients on your PC.
For example, I got EU version on my wow client atm and when I try to install US it removes my EU client. I want to bot on both US and EU at the same time from the same computer.

well, i have both installed.
Install eu first, copy the folder somewhere else then it cant delete it.
Install us
now you shall have both

just copy ur folder and change realmlist.wtf to US/EU servers

Why dont you just launch EU or US first then go into realmlist and change it to the opposite and launch the second window ?

afaik, eu & us might not be on the same patch at all times.

no, but it's the same patch 99.999999999999% of the time

So just edit your realmlist.wtf file located in World of Warcraft\Data\enGB

For EU it should look like:

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist enGB.patch.battle.net:1119/patch   
set realmlistbn ""
set portal eu

For US, I'm guessing it's like (but I don't have the US client to check, so ask someone else to paste his) (it also could be located in World of Warcraft\Data\enUS)

set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist enUS.patch.battle.net:1119/patch   
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us
