[EU] no ban but password resets and new verfications required ..

Hey,

during the last week i had some different (maybe new to me) expiriences with blizzard. I got 2 Accounts banned and then got e-Mails
that my account has been hacked. I had to change e-Mail addresses, secret question+answer and a password reset.

1. Account was recovered to november 2011, i was lvl 80 again and my server tranfer, professions, equip were all resetted.
2. second account was banned yesterday evening, today i sent them the required .txt file with the changes they wanted and it was unbanned some mins later.

I'm wondering about the way the accounts were banned, when i log in both accounts, i see a tickets which were opened due a phonecall which said my accounts
were hacked. I'm not an alcoholican nor a drug addict, so i didnt call blizz..

No one except me botted these accounts and the e-mail addresses are redirects from some domains i own to my personal email address, so they are not public.
I only created them for the accounts.

Does someone have a similar "problem" ? Both accounts are unbanned and there are no more open issues against them. Everything is fine..

thats what i thought last week on the first ban, so i did a whole security check with anti keylogger, antivirus and malware software.. nothing found..

Most hacked account contray to what people think will get them hacked. Is using the same email and PW on a forum or website. Chinese hacker's are very good are hacking these places and getting there records. Or falling scam to fake emails that are very well made. Or even falling scam to what you think is the battle.net site and is really a phishing site that takes you to the battle.net site without looking fake.

One of these could have happened to you. Keyloggers are kinda rare nowa days unless your going around downloading links off youtube or "free" hacks for FPS shooters and other "free"ware.

But if you really think it was a keylogger check out malwarebytes. Great program.

Like i said in my first post, i created these e-mail addresses just for these accounts, i don't use somehwere else, the passwords are different and between 10-20 chars. I keep them in a password depot software on my personal workstation..

I have exact same issue.
Not a ban, just secutiry lock, same weird "phone call ticket", except...they want me iD verification as well. And they want me make new bnet account too and i should change security question as well lol.
What a pain for vanilla acc eh?

Also after short convo they said that im on proxy and these kind of things may happen if im on it,. I was on vpn indeed tho its not that public vpn and im not sure they could detect if its actual proxy even after closer look. And IP's were in same close range for a month.

I never ever had these kind of issues, no idea what triggered this lock (which is worse than ban actually lol)
Only somewhat suspicious thing i did on this account was duped queen's garnet purchase two days before ban. I bought few stacks.

So yea, now im stuck. Account was made on some fancy name sure thing, already tried account recovery and an additional ticket - nothing works. They want iD scan, verification.
Ah and yea this account was banned/unbanned two times already. Maybe thats why they want iD so badly now. And i have no idea where to get fake iD photo for specific name.

It all seem to me like they know im doing bad things for sure and want to ban me but have no real reasons for make a legit ban.
However judging on my experience they usually dont bother and just spare an economy exploit ban and then refuse to unban no matter what without saying reason in such cases.

^ this. Lucky me, i created these accounts with variatons of my name like: XXXXX X. or X. XXXXX so i can always send my ID to them, but they didnt want it..
The first how got banned was frozen for over 1 1/2 months, on wednesday evening i charged gametime and the ban cam early morning on thursday.
Second one was farming in vashjir, uldum and twilight highlands for 120mins in each zone. The ban came on Sunday after i quested manually to get some achievments.. Didnt bot ~4 hours
before the security lock came and i had noch dc's at all which means i could actually be hacked..
