in reference to this POST i wanted to know if somebody already tried to use the european law system to:

1. Get banned account back.

2. Fuck blizzard up because they violated my privacy.

3. Anything other.

Im pretty sure there is no way to get the account back on working but why not trying it ?

Of course not, the guy that made the thread you linked is completely oblivious.

The privacy directive covers what is classified as personal information. Personal information is any sensitive information that can be used to do identity theft, or effectively identify a person(s) identity or social status, in most countries these are;

Name
Address
Government issued identity number
Health status
Racial/political status

Etc. This is PERSONAL information which is covered by the data protection directive, the fact that they have recorded something your virtual character did, in a virtual world has absolutely nothing to do with this directive, and the fact that he spend this much time writing that much crap, and making so many people believe theres actually a point to it, is astonishing and laughable.
