I shut all my GB bots down after my first got a ban (actually I got that one back and didn't loose any accounts during this ban wave, most important now seems max 3 accounts per ip/vm, else blizzard will investigate your ip and shut all your bots down).
Now I'm trying to find out how safe it is to only run GB for a few hours per day. AH prices are rising and if I now run GB for only one hour it is the same like 3-4 hours 1 month ago. I'm very confident that it is stupid to run GB for 8+ hours, it's like a 100% ban in a few days. It would be very helpful if we could find out how many hours per day of GB farming is absolutely safe to stay undetected from Blizzards filters so plz no fake votes.

obviously 9hrs+ / day, because I didnt really care about the account and was suicide botting, I appealed it and got it back with a 72 hour suspension. but I'd suggest to bot no more than 6 hours straight gatherbuddy (if u want to, just babysit while u do other things like I do), that way you can always response to a GM when hes on you and thinks ur a bot, if he whispers you you just reply like always and he should think, ah this is no bot

GMs dont whisper you to check if your a bot.

they can use any method on you, teleport... whisper etc.

they even used to have their own character spawn near you but they never do that anymore.

Obviously CAN.. dosen't mean they will.. had over 30 accounts banned total now and not a single one of them recieved a whisper prior to the ban.

Well after they catched on all my SoR accounts, i stopped using them.
Since then i lvled with questing/dungeon mixed my bots. After just 2 days of farming one of them already go banned. No 72hr, account closed...
It was a normal, paid account.

I could easily pull 20hrs/day farming with SoR accounts, and also sold gold on them f2f, and they lasted more than 2 months till april.
Now i cant even farm 5-6hrs for 2 days with paid accounts.

Its a joke whats going on now.

I am trying to make a multi-zone route that will take bot 1-2 hours to complete, my first try took only around 30-40min with around 70-90nodes (random herbs / ore) since that "little" amount of stacks I can put on AH / use for alch or other profs.
I used that profile only once for test run and has been 3-4 days now without a ban, I will update once I make another profile that will be 1h+.

P.S.
If any1 has skill / knoledge in making plugins I would be very grateful. I have an idea that a friend told me and would like to try it.

My profile is exactly 35min long with avarage 60-70nodes in that period so it's around 120 NPH. I only tried with 1 run each time and still no ban. I will try to increase the uptime, e.g. make the route longer. From what I gathered it's probably not safe to use same profile for more then 2-3 runs. If your char moves the exact same way 2often it's 100% ban. In other words, if you are farming Fool's cap for like 3 hours, and fool's cap has a really short route it a high chance of ban. There was a link to the post outside of this forum on how bliz is detecting botters, it was quite intriguing and that's how I designed my strategy.

I will post more updates when I can.

I had similar concern about it just like you, it's only natural that ppl are afraid of starting HB after so many ban reports lately, but hey - some1 has to do the testing. If you are smart you CAN bot 2-3 even 4 or 5 hours a day. It's all about outsmarting blizzard new system.

Its probably the pathing and waypoints leading to bans, so if you make a very long route through whole pandaria and dont overuse the profile, should be fine.

i can see that alot of gb botters are banned on my servers, there is actually almost no stacks of ghost iron ore and herbs left.

and the prices almost doubled in 2 weeks

Umm well iv botted today for about 8 hours.. I diden't even know that there was a banwave going on. No bans yet, my 2 bots have runned smoothly yesterday and today. I can also menation that iv not been botting alot this week nethier the past week. That myabe saved my accounts? Atleast iv stopped botting with GB

Have developers released an ETA for a new pathing system at all? or perhaps someone has a plugin that randomizes waypoints within a range of x,y,z values that you choose?
For example randomize each z coordinate within 3 or 5 values of the previous waypoint? That would prevent people following the same path so pattern detection would go out the window for Blizzard. It's not going to be safe for any of us till people start testing Blizzards new detection.

It's not detecting third party software, we know that much as every other bot except GB2 and BG Buddy is running fine. BG Buddy is so obvious that it's probably down to player reports and bots reporting other bots (whoever made that plugin deserves to be banned).
