EU banned with new Acc, ban happened while leveling

yesterday evening i think between 0:00am and 8:00am
 
no, my main account which normally runs 24/7 is still safe, i sold around 55mil on rmah also with this account. its really odd cause the reported account was brandnew.
 
Did the bot every get stuck for a long time at all?

I find with alot of the leveling profiles, if the bot screws up, it attempts to do things internally "e.g with Lieutenant Vachem quest, sometimes the bot will animate that your character is opening the cage even though its not possible yet because there are still monsters alive in the cellar". Maybe your bot got stuck for a long time and something on blizzard's side saw a flag and check it out? Just a theory.

yea, thats possible. when i watched the profile for a few hours it worked very smooth. the ban was at night, so i dont know what really happened :confused:
 
I had 2 brand new accounts on a brand new machine get banned while doing Vachem as well. This happened 2 days ago during a US wipeout. I wonder if this is not a safe levelling location now.
 
I just can't believe its not something more here. I get sarkoth, but how are they finding people leveling doing different profiles ?

there are these things called "flags", a "flag" is raised on an account under certain circumstances.

this is pure speculation - character completing the same quest over and over flags the account, these flags are given more "weight" on fresh accounts (theyre not retards, they obviously know botters are buying new accounts). this is one reason why fresh accounts are being banned so fast. other speculated flags could include playing from the same computer, playing from the same ip etc.

i think its extremely naive to think blizzard dont know about botters' cheese leveling tactics, or that they have the kind of data that shows how a "normal" player progresses through the game compared to a bot.

this is such an easy game to catch people botting in, im honestly surprised it even takes them as long as it does to ban level 60's

I am sorry polyester but you are showing off incompetence. Catching bots manually with this precision and speed is very good and they are getting better faster then we can adapt. When they take accounts old that are only hours old it could be anything, bots, someone purchasing a second account for whatever reason, etc. Their precision is quite good aswell and they have to carefully check for false positives.

You get sole new accounts getting hammered in hours, old accounts suddenly hammered and obviously a mix too.

New accounts being on heightened radar is obvious but not to that degree. Hitting lvl 60 fast is not a crime. It could be just another account for all they know or someone that read a lot of guides. Normal playthrough time or experience ( vachen etc ), going with that will trigger a lot of false positives along the way because all veterans would do exactly that, bot or no.

So obviously fast leveled fresh accounts will trigger a flag, but from flag to ban in merely 3-5 hours like it has been reported here doesn't seem odd to you? Way too efficient. Maybe they don't have complete detection, but those bans are getting too fast. Especially when you consider flags and then without a doubt stating ( which they do ) that this acc is a bot. We don't even have a single report of someone seeing a GM speaking to them or whatever so that method is off the table otherwise someone would have seen it happen.

So they go by behaviour alone in an 5 hour timespan? I don't buy it.

im not going to bother responding to your whole post because you dont seem to "get" it. i think youre underestimating the amount and type of data they collect and analyze.

Then don't respond and keep thinking that a flag is a ban. At this point flagging doesn't mean more then further investigation and given the rates they do astonishing work with a team of 12 people.

It's quite possible that they simply check up on new accounts for basic achievements you get by playing the game normally through normal.
