Greetings,

I was kindly pointed this way by Joro as I have run into a bit of a problem while trying to run Rebornbuddy on Windows XP. I get this error when I try to run it:

I did notice in the Pre-Reqs for Reborn Buddy it lists this:

Pre-Req's for Rebornbuddy
What are Pre-Req's ?
Pre-Req's is something that needs to be done first, in this case you need to ensure that you have the correct Microsoft updates and additional software installed before Rb can function and work fully and correctly.

These are:
.net 4.5.1
· Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center
· Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center

The main issue with the .net 4.5.1 is that windows XP is not supported for it.
I've even tried using the Buddy Wizard as well but no luck. Dispite that it is said RB works with Windows XP.

If there is an alternative way of getting Rebornbuddy up and working on Windows XP would anyone care to share how it is done please?

As the program crashes right upon startup as it can be viewed from the screenshot above there is no Logs folder. I tried to make a Logs folder to see if when ran a second time if it would produce a log file. Sadly it did not. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Strange as that is not what I was told via email. I'll just redirect this all back to Joro over at Bossland GmbH to get a few things cleared up. Thankfully I only purchased a trial key instead of the lifetime key else I'd be a little more upset than anything. However as I told Joro which I will restate here and again merely a suggestion "Might be best if you change what's stated on your website as it can be taken as "False Advertisement" when a potential buyer purchases it and comes to learn it isn't supported. As you can see from the screenshot it says your product works with Windows XP."

We used to support windows XP but stopped a few versions ago.

A little off-topic, but if you do update the web page, you might want to think about the part where it states "Full PVP Support" as that is no longer the case since frontlines was released.

Yeah, really unfortunate seeing as how I bought a Lifetime Key, have Windows XP, and can't run it. Perfect. Nice advertising!
