Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists.

I am getting the the error "Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists." when running Honorbuddy. I have tried a clean install and clearing caches. Nothing has seemed to help.

check your anti-virus or other applications to make sure they arent stopping honorbuddy from reading and writing files.

I disabled Avast, deleted the settings folder, and tried again. The error happens before I even try to auth.

Based on what I found in other threads, I played around with trying to repair the .NET framework, but I could never get the problem resolved. I finally gave up and reinstalled Windows. That fixed the problem.
