Hi there I get the same error again and again, can't use HB in any way, I can't either log in.
Error trying to save the settings file: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.
HB is running as administrator.

Btw I've noticed HB won't remind my product key like before the recent update.

I tried many solutions :
- uninstall HB, reinstall properly - no effect
- uninstall .net framework and c++ stuff, reinstall properly - no effect
- delete settings folder, launch HB, enter product key - no effect
- delete settings folder, lanch HB, delete newly created settings folder, enter product key => HB will log me in but the error message just pop up again and I can't use any bot or change anything or even switch between questing and combat...

I saw some guy here solved the problem, I'd like to know how...

get the honorbuddy folder OUT of your documents folder. move it to the desktop or somewhere else.

Hello again.

I moved HB folder from documents to desktop, deleted settings, launched game 32 bits as admin, launched HB as admin.

Didn't work :'(

your ether not, or your anti-virus or something else is blocking access to files.

make sure when starting honorbuddy your right clicking it, and clicking "runs as administrator"

also try disabling your anti-virus software.
