Error "Root Element is Missing"

Ok.
So I was using mixed mode: Gatherbuddy2 and PVP bot using the uldum whiptail only profile.
Now as I came back I saw that my char was logged off during afk time, as I logged back on I was in Mulgore and now i cant start honorbuddy even after reinstalling and replacing every file.
I keep getting the error message: "Root Element is Missing"
Any solutions?

Run repair on WoW...

Delete the entire HB directory and try with fresh install (including new copies of any plugins).

THat should fix the problem if i remember right.

The error seems to be with the combatassistsetting xml file. Try going into your Settings folder and removing CombatAssistSettings_YOURCHAR.xml and start up honorbuddy again, see what happens.
