error message on updating

hello, this evening got a message for update available so I hitted YES button... update started as usual but at a certain point (step 3 if I remember well but not 100% sure) a popup window appeared asking me to post an error message on Honorbuddy forum. After hitting the OK button, the update process stopped without reach the end. The message I get is as follow:

Download the latest version of honorbuddy.
http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.
