Error dowloading new patch

I tried to get back on honorbuddy after this new update but it gets to step 1 of 5 then a message pops up saying:

An error occurred during update process. Please report this error on forums.
Syterm.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessmemory request was completed at System.Diagnostics.NtProcessManager.GetModuleInfos(Int32 processld) at System Diagnostics.Process.get_MainModule() at WpfUpdater.Updater.<get_Processes>b_0(Process p)......... so on so forth. after I hit ok on that it says WpfUpdater has stopped working close program. What do I do. do I have to reinstall honorbuddy-.-

Doing a clean install of Honorbuddy would be the first guess:

Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:"Clean installing" Honorbuddy​

If that doesn't have you off-and-away, the second possibility is damaged dependencies.

well I have another question before I do a reinstall. Is it normal to be able to hit no on an update and log into honorbuddy and it work fine? I hit no on the updater the login poped up I logged in and the bot works fine.

It depends.

If the Honorbuddy release was to re-align with a WoWclient change (i.e., "patch day"), you've no choice but to update.

But, if the Honorbuddy release is an interim drop (i.e., no change has been made to the WoWclient), then it is possible to use the older version of Honorbuddy. The wisdom of doing so is highly suspect. As, you will be missing out on new features, bug repairs (some of which may be critical), and new anti-detection mechanisms that are being provided by the new Honorbuddy release.
