Honestly I don't get why they just take down all the servers until they fix it..i'm sure everyone would be happy to wait a few days for errorless/crashless experience. I think the servers probably can't handle the demand or something which is causing all of these errors...if not then...

agreed, instead you got people doing this crap

Start the game and uncheck 'remember account name' option
Go to Options and switch to European server
Log in, then close program completely
Re-start game, and switch back to American server on login screen
Leave 'remember account name' unchecked, and log in

This apparently might take a few tries, but it worked the first time for me.

Go outside start your car.
Come back in turn your pc off.
Go out to the garage ( if you dont got one sorry it wont help you) turn on the lights.
Come back inside turn your pc on and start diablo.
Go back outside turn off your car and the lights.

Worked for me... >.> Games broke, wait for blue post saying fixed lol
