Hello, I recently got honorbuddy and when I went to launch it via the included launcher. I get the error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). click ok to close the application." I've looked into it and it seems that it have something to do with the .NET firmware, but I've installed every single .NET and Microsoft Visual that you could possible need. (( http://puu.sh/9XD1A/4fe9df53f3.png ))

Can someone explain how I can fix this?

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.1
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

I already got that. But I did some reading around. And found something about not being administrator on the PC might be a problem.

If not please correct me.
I am on a school laptop with a DNS server passthough that you cannot change. See picture below.

No log from after reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ because tripwire is activated atm.

that would probably do it. they probably locked it down. and you NEED to be running as a full on admin with rights on the machine for the bot to work properly.

I've disabled all I could in the F-Secure program. The only things left are "Virus and spywarescanning, DeepGuard and Firewall"

Could the Firewall be blocking Honorbuddy?

Also this is abit werid, when I open up Honorbuddy when tripwire is deactivated, it just shows the main window with a complete blank window.

But now the tripwire is active, it allows me to type in my key, and acces the program, however just gives me the message tripwire is activated.

Maybe it blocks the connection to the HB servers?

yes, ports 5031 needs to be open.

at this point it sounds like its working correctly, but your going to have to wait for a devs to check it and clear the tripwire status. since its not safe to bot at the moment.

I tried to enable port 5031 in my router and F-Secure now, if that dosen't work after tripwire have been lifted I guess I'll have to find a workaround to disable F-Secure without kicking me out of the laptop!

Thanks for your help.

Honorbuddy is working correctly now after having enabled the port :)! Thanks
