Hay, I am recently coming back to wow now after the ban has been lifted. I am wondering if it would make any difference to put honorbuddy on a removable drive and encrypt it. Would this make it harder for them to detect it in any way or would they still be able to see its running on my processes.

Thanks for any input

They can't see it legally in your process depending on your country. But the short answer is "no".

I live in england so they can not scan my processes but that would lead me to question how they know if your botting. There are the easy ways of people using a profile that goes to set locations and tracking that but if people are just using a script for the rotation I do not see how people get picked up on that.

There's not a single person outside of blizzard that knows how they detect us, and it's clear that there was a detection. You can try anything to keep from getting banned, but in reality, it most likely won't help.

Storing HB on an encrypted drive really isn't going to protect you, as the likelihood that Blizz is actually scanning your pc for files is about zero.

Even if you say that it's illegal for blizz to scan your processes, there's no actual way you'll ever be able to prove blizz didn't scan unless you either catch them in the act, or file a lawsuit against them and get them to reveal their detection methods through the process of discovery.

I just wear dark shades when I bot and so far so good no bans ...plus I look absolutely stunning.

No encryption, proxy or any other method required. Do not risk accounts you are not willing to loose. This has been discussed several times already on the forum, don't waste your time and just enjoy botting.

Yup, the dark shades are just about as much protection as an encrypted drive would be...But with the shades, you look amazing AND blizz won't be able to track your eye movements when you play.

I would say, If you're botting and can't front $60 to buy a new acc if your acc gets banned; probs don't spend the time botting.

Drive encryption simply secures access to the drive. In order to run HB, you would have to authenticate. Once you authenticate, the entire drive is accessible by the entire computer. Drive encryption provides no value for what you hope to achieve here.

Hi, Xruefulxstarx,

Moving thread to general forum, since its not a Support issue.

As the others have pointed out...
Encrypting a (or all) drives is a very smart move for a number of reasons. However, it does not help in avoiding detection at all.
