Editing profiles from buddystore?

Hey,

Ive been wondering if its possible to edit stuff from the buddystore-profiles? Ie level-req in the kicks-profiles, is my main concern. Although im not 100% sure that there IS actual level-req involved in them, i cant get my lvl 100-char to run through gorgrond, it skips from SMW (which IS completed) loads gorgrond (which is 1/4 done) then loads talador and goes on. I can only think its reading the level req and moving on.

Any input?

Im also concerned with for example what to mail / vendor, since i cannot find the files localy to edit

Kicks does have a up to date SVN available if you want to use it to update your chosen file;

You can't edit stuff streamed from the store by design. This is how the author would that you use their profiles. If you are not happy, write in their profile thread and hope they change the stuff according to your input.
Atm. Kicks is available via Store and SVN. The SVN is the same (often even 24h advance) than the store product. In future it might only give one source but atm. there is no plan to not go with on with having both for kicks.

many developers will supply you with a current version of the code if asked. usually if you navigate to the forum thread [as suggested above] you can find an SVN link.

however, developers will usually only support their official version so you may be on your own if you bork the code.

Many thanks for the replies guys, i hadnt checked back since i posted it! The SVN from kicks profiles is perfect, exactly what i was looking for to be able to edit specific things to my hearts content
