I've seen the price for gold go down and the prices for services such as cdkeys etc go way up.
for my high pop server the price of a wod CD key is 240k gold
my question how is gold at such a high amount right now? I'm having trouble maintaining 50k making it seems impossible in this expac without botting 20 hours a day.

was there an exploit or something?

The amount of gold for that WoD cd-key is high because gold value is really shiet atm.

it's because duping has hit most, if not all servers, and once that happens, said dupers have infinite amounts of gold to sell, thus bringing down the value of gold

I really don't understand how Blizz can not see who dupes things..... seriously how can they not track such serious ammount of items and gold and ban the entire operation. I hate dupers out of my bone narrow, these are the worst they ruin the economy in such a way that it never returns to normal.

There is not working dupe atm, its all bout the mass dungeon farming. People overuse it.

NO i am sure Blizzard knows about the dupers as it knows about the dungeon farming and so on and so on, but as everything that revolves around shutting down boting methods related to gold selling they they their sweet time to do so. Nothing is done about dungeon farming or other popular methods likes the CC fraud for free 90 heroes.

Excuse me? You really miss the point, dont you?

Its not about dupers or anyone, its about the market prices, any excessive amount of gold, which is way too much for its market do push the price down very fast in a competitive environment. The most botters, who make their livings off it could easily loose the profit that way, and get into troubles.

The botting itself, usually cannot generate such excessive amount of gold on the market, but using Fraud mechanisms like stolen CCs for feeding "2-3 days lasting" accounts is that, which do makes this very noncompetitive.

We don't destroy the whole economy. That's enough to kill a game if not fixed.
