Easy way to reduce your perma bans in the next upcoming weeks!

Hey folks, for a week or so now the whole speculation of Bnet being affected by the Heartbleed exploit has been popular. Now while Battle.net wasn't actually affected directly by the exploit, MANY other websites and companies have been affected.

What does this mean about your perma bans in the next few weeks? It means you have an easy way out, and easy reason to to that perma ban reduced to 72 hours.

"blizzard i was told by several of my friens that i mite have been effected by the heartbleed exploit on my bank acc, which i accidentaly used the same password!!!!! i think i was hacked!!!!!! pls help i never botted i havent logged in in days my bank acc was effected too!!!! ((("

There you go, if you have a perma, just submit a ticket saying your bank account or (insert random company/service here) was effected which resulted in your Battle.net becoming unsecure. To give even more of a chance even if you have an authenticator, you can describe how you often use public wifi at (insert service here) which could result in your phone being effected as well.

Just got banned for "exploiting the economy" never been banned before I will try this method to see if I can get it reduced and cash out.

Edit: Didn't work and they could give a shit about them releasing your information to anyone.

in addition to that if you know you that you are not banned by player reports but auto script wait 1-2 weeks before you appeal.it incrases your chance to get unbanned.

I received a perma ban today triggered by tacking software which is usually a death sentence, but had it reversed.

I had a nice sounding lady on the line... I played stupid. I said stuff like.. Could it have been an addon that I got from Curse? Was it this new "heartbreaker thing" and I explained that I've put so much work into the account and I had a raid tonight and I wouldn't even know where to find a bot, I can barely use my printer. All lies, but good examples of social engineering.

I had a permaban reduced to nothing in 5 mins.... Now mind you its my fault.. Ive run GB2 unattended for hours at a time.

But do yourselves a favor and call them. Talk to a human.

When you add a human element to the appeal it makes it harder for Blizz to treat it anonomously.

Very true, this also makes it harder for them to build up the courage asking why your authenticator messed up, easier to lie too. OPs route is just for the people who doesn't have the guts themselves to add the human element to it.

I no longer do alot of WoW botting but I can tell you that this method generally works 100% of the time until they figure out who you are and start linking situations/accounts together. Its much easier to get an account unbanned over the phone without submitting a ticket.

I've had accounts unbanned up to 3-4 times with this method, all banned for gatherbuddy gathering. Eventually, Blizzard had a fingerprint of my hardware and started banning accounts as fast as I could make them.
