Earning money by prospecting ghost iron ore

I have 1 question. How much gold does it cost to craft 1 ornate ring/shadowfire neck? I'm not thinking of deleteing the rest I just wanna know. Any1 got time to do the math?

What do you mean by cost?
You prospect ore, cut gems/necks/rings, disenchant necks/rings, put enchants on scrolls, put gems & enchants on AH.
You can also Transmute to Primal Diamonds

Yeah, what I wonder is how much gold it cost to make 1 ornate band/shadowfire necklace (average)

If you have the professions on your characters then 0 gold, if you buy it from AH then it's all depending on the mats cost and it different from server to server.

You guys don't seem to understand. Let's say I'm prospecting ghost iron ore. Then I throw away all the rare gems. So I only have the green ones left. How many ghost iron ores would I have to prospect to get enough mats to make ex. 10 ornate rings? Can any1 do that math?

Yeah but if some1 could make some test thing. Like prospecting 100 stack of ghost iron ore. And see the outcome.

With 100 ore I got 3 rings, 2 necklaces. Just a quick test.
Would be random. Not counting extra gems got for next batch.
Also take in to consideration cost of setting.
