I saw it was supposed to be release at the end of April, but I haven't seen any word of it.

Does anyone have the inside story?

we're workin on it; we had some snags but we're gettin it up and runnin =)

Not at the beginning, but it will be open for profile/scripting submissions if I recall correctly. Heroic support will come in time, I'm sure.

actually it's a possiblity... i'll get the profiles made and see if the gang can get the scripts made for the fights!

(script = custom behavior basically)

Normal heroics or something cool like Hour of twilight heroics. Oh and raid finder?
 
IMO I'd prefer the 3 hour of twilight heroics over all of the normal heroics. That's where the gear's at, that's where the valor's at, that's what I'd like to be able to farm.
 
Hour of Twilight dung's que fast and they are easy/fast for just about any group. why need to bot them? the word will never know
 
i would like to know if there's an option for those of us with 5 HB accounts, to set up a dungeon team that will work together to queue for random (or pre-defined) dungeons.

I think thats the whole point of dungeon-buddy.

two things to the world

1.- dps queue is about 20min
2.- whats a bot about? to farm and get better gear.. where u get better gear this expansion? HoT HC's

i dont get, why u want DungeonBuddy run others dung over Hour of twilight heroics when normally (at least i do) we get 85 buy pvp gear and start to farm in hour of twilght heroics to stack ilvl, get valor points (find a weap and trinket) for LFR.

then when u are geared u still farm vp on ur alts, there are weeks that i dont cap vp, cuz im too lazy for use lazyraider..

I agree with shlord. DPS queue times are, at least on my realm, in excess of 15 minutes. Tanks and healers are almost instantly in a dungeon. It's because of this that I've rolled three tanks (DK, Warrior, Druid) and three healers (shaman, druid, paladin). I would love it if DB could farm these in an AFK fashion, but I know this won't be the case immediately. While I do get gear from these dungeons (HoT Heroics), I find that I fall victim to Blizzard's RNG (Random Number Generator) curse. I always get the item I'm looking for on one toon while I'm logged on to another toon. I've been farming for the Dragonmaw Blaster, which is my Survival hunter's BiS item (pre-raid) ever since HoT was implemented. I haven't gotten it on my hunter yet, but I have gotten it over three times on every other toon I've taken into these heroics, and quite frankly, it's pissing me off. There are other items I still haven't gotetn for other toons also, such as tanking shoulders for my DK and warrior. I've gotten them on other toons though. It always works like that for me, which is extremely frustrating.

With the Loot Ninja plugin and DungeonBuddy bot, I could set and forget while I watched TV, then possibly come back and have things I needed. I think it would be great to have DB farm these new heroics not only for gear, but also for JP and VP and not have to mindlessly LazyRaid them, or run them manually.

Why dont you just use a Cataclysmic Gladiator's Rifle? Its 10x easier to get and is better stat wise to the Horrifying Horn Arbalest which is a raid item.
