Dungeonbuddy Tanking

Anybody has tried WoD instances with dungeonbuddy as a tank? The movement while melee dps is so botty ( on ranged/casters is ok) so i was thinking of queuing as a tank.

There is a reason why its disabled by default..

its only to be used when you team of 5..
 
IF IT HELPS HERE IS MY 2 PENNETH WORTH.

Hell yes use it, I certainly do and have had great success, gear and xp not to mention the enjoyment of watching it. However I would caution you to consider the following.

1. If it does and it will bug or behave badly, make sure you have a pause key mapped to stop the bot immediately and take manual control of movement.
2. Get a 1 button macro to spam whilst you sort out point number 1.
3. Never afk it, sit enjoy and be ready to pause the bot, manual spam a one button macro if it goes pete tong.

other than that que for random dungeons and enjoy.

Thanks for your insight, although i can't find a way this would help me out, because it loses the purpose of afking.
 
I'd love to see someone develop a profile/setup so you could tank in randoms 15-100.

Sorry it would be close to impossible- with the exception of creating AI :) or similar.

there are just to many variables with tanking, there is a good read on page 3 or 4 I think on the DB post regarding why it wont happen from the dev.

Even if I could be scripted- a waste of resources healer queue times are as good a tanking IMO....

What would be really good (dreaming - it will never happen) if we could trust each other that we could use the forum or discord to create 5 man teams..

5 bots each from a different location in the world- blizzard would just about never spot us...

However because of the dodgy 10-20% of botters out there, people would use this as a way to report us fellow botters- so it will never happen..

We have been able to achive this with a group of guild mates- it works really well.. have botted many toons from 1-100 using db only using 5 guild mates and there bots..
