for both LFD and LFR there should be support for multiple roles for example if i have dual spec DPS+healer LFD/LFR should be able to quee for both and when it gets inside change spec (and if needed gear) to correct one, also it should be able to DPS while in tank spec or DPS while in healing spec
there are 3 levels of "support based" on how hard is it to implement them, i would say first level of support is easily reachable probably by single developer in few days, but some of others would probably require more resources
- First level of "support" would include dual spec characters, so that you can quee in both of these specs and when inside if we got spot for healer and we are in DPS spec just switch spec and gear (most natural behaviour would be to use gear sets builtin in game, bot owner would make 2 (or more) gear sets on character sheet one setup for DPS other for healing and in config for LFD/LFR bot tell it which ingame gearset to activate for which "role"
both roles should have option to use same gearset (since shadow and holy priest or resto and boomkin share gear)
also there should be option to disable gear changing (change only role) since again shadow and holy can share gear so no need to switch it in that case
also it is important to have option to disable queeing for 2 specs and quee for only one spec because we might have spec but no gear for second spec so we can quee for only one we do have
- Second level of "support" would be to use "fake spec" in other words have 1 spec - holy but quee as both DPS and healer and if we are healer heal normally, and if we are DPS use our holy spells to DPS instead, or if we are blood DK and we get tank spot tank normally and if we get DPS spot just change presence to frost and DPS instead with blood gear/spec
DK in blood can both tank and DPS (maybe even enable tanking for frost/unholy for example if we are outgearing content)
Druid in guardian can both tank and DPS(cat form) (maybe even enable kitty to tank if we outgear content)
Druid in resto can both heal and DPS(moonfire/starfire) (maybe even enable boomkin to heal if we outgear content)
Monk can also tank and DPS with tank spec (maybe enable tanking in DPS spec if we outgear content)
paladin can also tank or DPS by just changing seal
priest can heal in all 3 specs and DPS in all 3 specs
shaman can both heal and DPS in elemental/resto
warior can DPS in tank spec with changing "form" and maybe even tank in DPS spec if we outgear content
- Third level of "support" would be to use both specs at same time for example as holy/disc/shadow priest if we outgear content heal as much as needed and spend rest of mana/time to DPS, all healers have decent DPS spells with small mana cost (resto shammy actually gains mana while DPSing), and all caster DPS can also heal but not as much - still should not be problem if we are doing 5man in 550 gear
