1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Profession buddy (mining + herb)

2)If so, when was the last time?: 2 hours yesterday

3)What profile were you using?: na

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: default (prot pally)

5)What plugins are you using?: basic one

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 2 hours (banned first day)

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 10 minutes lol

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: to many due to profession buddy selling ore and herbs

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? no

10)EU or US realm? us

I bought this account as a scroll of Resurrection account for $15. profession buddy put a lot of stuff on the auction house (copper and low level herbs) and i got an auto ban. i called bliz and they said that my ip was different from the last time the account was active in 2008 and they want photo id to unban it. I think i should just take it as a loss because i don't want to send them my id just in case they tie it to my main account and i am not the original owner of the account.
 
Even if you send your ID they wont unban it.

They want the ID of the original owner.
 
Sorry for your lost. I think you are the 2nd person who did this (I don't remember who the first one I read was), but since I read the first report before I leveled Mining/Herbing on my Bot account I remembered to disable the AH the mats option in PB for that profile so I just made it mail the mats when his bags got full to a banker toon.

With that said, I am glad that people are reporting their bans, like you. It helps others learn from people's mistakes and helps us be more careful in our botting ways.
 
thats what i figured. The other sor account I have has been going for a week now with no issues. i dont sell anything on the ah with that account, i store everything in the guild bank.
 
This doesn't sound good for my plan to purchase EU SoR accts when I'm US. I got the warning the name was different on my SoR, but it sounds like it might get auto-locked the first time I log in from another country. *Maybe* it was just the auctions that triggered yours? Did you get the abuse of economy letter?
 
Has nothing to do with Honorbudy, PB, botting or putting stuff on AH.
You got banned/locked out due to different IP.

bliz said the auctions are what caused the autoban. it made the system worry because of the different ip and that there were so many auctions it thought the account was hacked. they said this on the phone.

yes i got the abuse of economy letter. bliz said it was all the auctions at once as well as the different ip that triggered the autoban. my other sor account has had no issues and that has been going for a week now.
 
Also had 9 accs banned yesterday evening :D all for the same reason "abuse of economy".

Important to mention few things 1)All bots were farming herbs/minerals 2) ALL on different servers 3) All were going for 4 hours each max and all at different hours of day/night 4) ALL in different zones 5) 9/12 i was using got hited 6) No the accounts weren't connected with gbanks/mails/trades among them or even friendly list!

It most be the same IP or machine i used to run all of them if you guys ask me ... Big lose for me but i keep smiling since we all know the risks we take when we bot :) Hope u guys are ok and carefull i have the feeling Blizz is taking more and more aggressive policy in finding us !

PS managed to get innocent on 3 of of them 72 h penalty on others 3 and 3 seems they will remain perma bann ( i will try few weeks b4 MOP again a ticket maybe blizz will see more $$ cant hurt)

are you stupid ? there are thousands of these new zombie accounts who got resurected. My second bot acc was from spain, and do I got banned for diferent IP ? lol u joke. Its cuz of Profesionbuddy stupidity

i bought 5 SoR account, only in one days all of them is banned...blizz said abuse economy bla bla bla, even though i havent done anything yet with those toon, i just resurrect them and bam the next day they all banned...maybe blizz really have attention about SoR acc
 
i still have one sor account going strong. i DON'T do any auctions with it though so that may be why. i used profession buddy to level mining/herbs with that account but this time i turn the ah option off so it mailed all mats to the bank charector.

*i think the ah option for profession buddy when leveling trade skills is a bad idea for any account*

i watched it and it put way to many auctions up way to fast.

i talked with bliz on the phone and they said that it was auto detected because the origional account was used in north carolina and i am in Pa and because of how many auctions were put up. the system thought the account was hacked and banned it for safety.
