Due to an unusual change in your access pattern, the Battle.net account *********** has been locked. This can be caused by logging in from a new location, but it may also signal an attempt to gain unauthorized access to your account.

What does this mean? Do I have to be more careful?

dont use links from emails to log in, try going to the battle.net website to see if you can log in from there..

The account did not get locked. Though it doesn't look like a fake blizzard mail, it comes from the right emailadress no reply eu @ blizzard . com. Links seem good (haven't clicked them).

I've had this once, because I logged in from a different country. I just contacted Blizzard and they unlocked it.

I get emails all the time that look official saying theres a problem with my account, but I just use an authenticator on my smart phone and log in through the official site to check my accounts, I usually delete emails when they come in.

if you don't have an authenticater, then it does actually lock if you login from a too distant IP from your previous login, and within a certain time frame.

In any case, this has nothing to do with HB and could happen to any general user

Simply automated anti-hack by blizzard which will require a password change through the link they send in your email that is tied to the account. Has happened many times for me, just for logging into an IP down the road. Especially local wifi shops.
