Drop Data or RNG Hack

Hi All... It just came up with my mind that if the bot can read the game data (not sure if it really does), can it also read the specific drop data on every map? Or can it read the RNG in 6-linking an item (if when will it 6-linked your item). I don't know if this stupid question works that way because if it does, i think there's no need for us to bot that real hard in spending so much of the computer's time botting, xD...

It's a bot, not a hack :) You can know which map tgt has been used, but nothing more "hacky"

It's impossible, basically your computer sends a message to GGG's servers saying 'I used a fusing on this item' and the GGG servers decide how many links it now has and tell you. Since the decision isn't made on your computer, it's impossible to affect (unless you feel like breaking in to GGG's server room Ocean's Eleven style ;) )

On some occasions I remember GGG saying they use pseudorandom number generator (PRNG) in order to make some decisions. That ultimately means that they use stuff on your RAM to come up with a random value. But since you know what is in your RAM, if you could somehow knew the secret equation you would know the outcome.

But I'm sure all of the currency stuff is server side :)

the rng is server-side. Else it would be way too easy to hack it & modify things during runtime.

So yeah, drops are server-side.

Even if this was the case, practically speaking it's impossible to use that information. PRNGs generally use the precise system clock time, which means you'd need to know the exact time at which the calculation was made down to the millisecond, AND have access to the game's source code (good luck reverse engineering their PRNG code). Drop/rng hacks for games like PoE are not possible, and never will be.
