Hello Hb users!
I was at Dreamhack winter 2012 and I didnt have any intensions to play games because my sudden lack of gaming interest.
So the first half event I was just hanging around with different friends I knew from before and my botting setup was 4 bots lvling 85-90 in bgs (screen turned off when AFK).
The other half of the event I decided to buy a dreamhack T-shirt with a self modified text on the back (Honorbuddy) and bot hardcore.
My setup was 4x questing, 7x gb2, 4x bgbuddy, 3x grinding = 18accs
Me and one friend had built a shelf to put our PC on to get more space on the table wich made it possible for me to have 2 screens :)
The screens was turned on all the time with the bots running and with a software called lock my pc wich is very useful.
As there is a lot of haters around they can still damage my computer but since Im so social all the time I had already made a lot of friends at the same row as me who chased people that not only wanted to watch my bots.
I was AFK nearly all that time meeting new people (botters and haters) discussing/arguing about honorbuddy.
I was suprised that I couldnt find a single person who used honorbuddy daily but there was a group of people that have tried it out but are to afraid to use it.
Some people didnt know what Honorbuddy was so I introduced them to the bot and as I remember right 3 bought it instantly after I showed them.
The biggest group was the haters who also was the funniest group because they where so easy to tease and their arguments where so bad.
I wasnt so prepared to do this since I got the idea during the event but my point was to represent the Honorbuddy community, find other Hb users or recruit new ones and to defend the Hb community by arguing with haters.
Im pretty happy about what I managed to do during that time and I will probably do similar stuffs at DreamHack Summer 2013 but then I will be more prepared.
I just thought it was a cool thing to do if I didnt wanna play any games or just hang out with my friends all the time.
Thanks for taking time reading this, leave your opinion on this on a comment below!

I find it pretty stupid to expose yourself and others like that.
Making it more obvious that people do bot (even it's pretty obvious atm), and infuryating already bot-haters, to pay more attention to botters and causing more reports.

0/10 from my POV.

Give me back my time i spend with ur nonsens..

Opionion: What phrosen said.
Be nice to your customers / non botters or they will grap some torches and try to burn you like a witch...
Just stay quiet and enjoy the advantage from botting.

-> you fail

Blizzcon+Buddy Team Tshirt=Win

Nah, just the Buddyteam "bee" logo from the bot's starting screen. Those who don't know what this "bee" represents will never understand and everyone who bots, which is quite a lot of buddies at the moment, will admire your courage and giggle when you appear there.

Hell, someone with more time on their hands could even make a costume, go out on the stage and say "I am a Hive XXX from Silithus wasp", or a Klaxxi honeybee or something and do the bee dance proudly right under Chris Metzen's nose.

Just imagine THAT!

I agree. Just the BEE logo! and trust me, there are ppl who never admit that they use HB and plays along with the haters :) . The BEE T-Shirt is a win. We grow in silence.

I'm so embarrassed on your behalf, i'm getting goosebumps

aren't there enough botters already? gold prices are dropping lower and lower.

blizzcon with a buddy shirt on the other hand... thats something i would like :D ... 1st row of seats only bees :D

I'm not shy about me botting and I dont care if they took pics of my bots and reported me.
I have a main account that I'm careful of and I didnt log in to it a single time during the event.

I love honorbuddy so I didnt wanna stay quite all the event when I can meet a lot of people and talk good about the bot.
The haters was mostly a group of teenagers that wanted to be cool infront of their buddies, but when I took one of them and talked to them privately they started to listen to my story with an open mouth.
the expression on their face, their look in their eyes was indescribable.
Their litterally had thoose puppy eyes asking if it was possible for them to archive the same things as me.

I didnt run around screaming HONORBUDDY or provoke people that didnt like hb.
I was chilling around at the restaurant/smoking place and other populated areas to catch up with as many as possible.

Im sorry if you didnt like what I did but it felt good for me.
Telling my story to other people while they are listening closely with that twinkle in their eyes.

I find the idea funny so let the haters hate ;)

I am part of a local meetup group here in Dallas that is just wow nerds. They all know I bot and they do not care one bit. I often will level or jp/HP cap a toon for them as a bday gift lol.

But as you were stating it was mostly teens acting as haters. Working adults/busy parents understand why I bot and they have no issues with it lol.

If I remember correctly, when Glider was still around a couple people went to Blizzcon with the MMOGlider symbol on tshirts and hats.

first think i thought of when i read the idea of going to blizzcon with hb shirts :D

damn i miss the glider times. no one was botting back in the day except for chinese gold farmers and if you replied in your own language when someone whispered you, no one even thought of reporting you

Botting back then was actually a chore. HB has made it so easy for the average joe to hook up. not Complaining but i remember when the bot community was tiny and bans didn't happen unless there was a security flaw. The good Ole days
