Hello

Honestly, I don't care if the developers claim there is nothing wrong with it, as some of you may remember my main account was 72 hour banned about 2 weeks ago, since then I have never used BGBuddy again and I have been running a gathering bot almost 24/7 which has not been banned on another account.

I bought a second account and was levelling a Druid, he got stuck in Deepholm and was almost at level 84 so I thought I'd just do the rest of the level in BGs so I can get him to Twilight Highlands, he wasn't in BGs for more than 3 hours and got slapped with another 72 hour suspension.


That means the 2 times I used BGBuddy I was 72 hour banned, I might have been extremely unlucky but either way, it's not worth it!

Banmagnetbuddy has been unusable for a long time.
 
Well I'm glad you're so informed on the subject, I guess Hipster Dave name suits you well since hipsters usually get the intel before any one else does but I wasn't aware and now one of my accounts is on 3 day temporary suspension... Not a big deal but I just wanted to let more people know just in case it happens to others.
 
did you do it today? because supposedly today they were supervising some bgs...
 
I actually got a 72 hours suspension like 30-60 mins after I logged out at the beginning of a AV game yesterday.
 
Need new profiles for bgbuddy. Entire herds of bgbuddy users fatting about, is at almost 100% ban rate with default profiles right now. That's why they are bitching on AJ. Noone wants to grind honor, but there is a new season in 1 week.
 
now that came as a shock.

If you would do BG's as the normal way(manual) then you would notice, how easy it is to spot botters.
So yeah, it's really easy to spot those of you who use BGbuddy.
So I agree.. Do not use BGbuddy.
Unless you want a ban ofc.

To hard to script.
and there are too many BG botters, for it not to seem obvious to people.
 
To be quite honest I have used BGbuddy a lot and I still use it. I play on EU server and supervise 100% and also talk a lot during bg's and pretend I'm a PvP noob. I am not trolling I still use it all the time so maybe it's more strict on certain servers and yes in the BG's that I get into there are usually long konga lines of buddies.
 
Here are a few ideas:
1. You can use combat bot for BGs if you don't mind running them around the battleground yourself.
2. There is a profile maker that was created for gatherbuddy. You might be able to create your own BG profile with it.
3. If you use a healer, you could try Multibox Follower from the Multibox Suite and tell a tank that you wanted to follow him around and heal him.

Those are all some pretty good ideas, I heard that it's possible to make your own BGbuddy profiles but it's not as much the profiles that are what's causing it. It's the bgbuddy logic itself especially the 'Moving to biggest fight' as this will usually be the big bot battle going on in mid as usual.

The HB team have however said that they are still reworking the profiles and logic so that it's based on a heat system as far as I can remember.
I think they said that it will also choose whether to attack enemy nodes or defend which sounds pretty cool.

Hopefully we'll be seeing some of that soon, keep the suggestions coming great stuff being posted here.
 
If you use BGbuddy with its default scripts no wonder you get banned in Alterac there standing 5-10 Bots at the Frostwolf relife Hut at any given Time in Alterac.

Just go into Alterac Valley.xml and edit the coords for <Box Name="FrostwolfReliefHut"> and enter differnd cords...

I did this and I am still Botting with BG Buddy for Month
