Hi guys,

A quick poll to see what the community reckons, please vote above.

I use WoW Tunnels because I live in Australia and frankly, it's nearly impossible to play without some sort of SSH Tunnel / Proxy setup. I fear though, that this increases of my chances of getting the ban stick.

I have glided for years before and never had as much as a second glance from the GMs. Yet I've already been suspended within a month of using HB. Admittedly, there could be other reasons, that have contributed, but a part of me wonders whether the fact that I am now using WoW tunnels somehow contributes to the 'risk factor' I have not used any tunneling in the Glider days because I could not stand paying a cent more than I had to, but now I've come to see the benefits first hand and I don't want to stop.

What are your thoughts? Do you think using a 'common' proxy/tunnel service raises any alarms on Blizzard's end as a potential gold-seller/botter/hacker ?

No they won't ban you for this as long as your using the same one all the time and your IP doesn't change. Is it necessiary?... Not really. I don't know a single person whose ever been ip banned. They want you to buy another account and get banned again.

The only time they ip ban is for extremely large gold sellers, which doesn't stop them either. Hiding you IP is useless in this case anyways.

recently i noticed that they will lock your bnet acc if you change between too manyips too fast(lock means they force you to get a new pw,nothing more)
a friend of mine logged in my account and we had to get a new pw then...so they know about it but don't give a f*ck

I've used Battleping's App for nearly a year now with multiple bots. Im sure it's perfectly fine since majority of arena enthusiasts consider it mandatory to have such a service to ensure highest performance of gameplay.

To all of you that says Blizzard does this, doesn't do that, ban for this but not for that etc.
How can you know?
I'm not trolling, I just find it amazing how people know so much.
Are there any sources with policies about it?
