Hello all,

As the title says, what's the protection? Those are my two questions before i buy it :)

Thanks

Lots of other posts about it in other game's sections.
Really not something to worry about.
If you ever get banned, it wasn't software detection.

The Buddy "Tripwire" is only for Warden, meaning Blizzard games (specifically WoW).

No other games have a "Warden" that I know of, so there's no need for a tripwire for them. The Buddy bots also don't use injection methods so they're pretty safe overall (although they still come with a risk like any bot).

FF15ARR has no built in software on the client side cheat protection so no need to any such thing,

If they ever did im sure it would be implemented... Not a single buddybot has ever been detected via software :) (it has been detected by other means including the POE bot that was doing something that a human couldn't do similar to the d3 bot")

All that being said - player reports and botting routines can most certainly land you a ban on FF14ARR...

Botting in high populated areas's
Botting with all red gear
botting stupid amouts of times
Getting stuck
under cutting the Aution house too steap.

All these things and more need to considered and much much more.

Thanks for the answers!
What if FFXIV ever implements client side detection?

They would have have a tripwire built into the core of all the buddy bots, If it was detected- you would no longer be able to login untill they fixed the detection- Its never happen though :)
