Has anyone had to accounts linked using RAF and had one banned before?

What happens to the linked account? Do that investigate it too?

all i know is that they ban the acc that was botting altho they may flag the other

It happened to me. Luckily/or Unluckily, they bots where separated when the ban came, one died, one is still alive now.

I'm glad you you still have one of your accounts exfelon!

My brother's account was suspended recently after he listed 70ish green items on the auction house. He didn't know the dangers.

I'm curious to see if they follow our RAF link to investigate my account.

I am as well. I really wanted the rocket mount on my main acct so i referred it to my new bot acct, but I was very careful with that bot, didnt afk it too much, and manually did the quests that HB couldnt do so I completed many chain quests. I also remembered that I have 3 accts that are inactive on my main battle.net account, one is a wrath one, with 2 70s, and the others are TBC with some lvl 21s so I'm wondering if im safe to bot those accts, or if I should try and split em to a new battle.net, or what. Considering buying another GB lifetime license if i feel safe enough to bot those other accts i already have. seems most bans are just for the offending acct, and they only investigate further when theres gold selling reported.

As most would know, whenever I get banned, my RaF gets banned too. Sometimes they may just flag it, look at it later then bann both at the same time. Either way, RaF risks both accounts unless one of them is 100 percent legit.

With multiboxing, most have used raf to level up there teams. One of the number one rules they go by is to make sure they have each account with the same name. Due to having one toon with 1+ toons fallowing it almost alwase. So they do get reported and then an investigation can happen. So looking at that, if you are muliboxing while botting I would say there is a higher chance. Because if its not the same name on the accounts, they can hit you with a sharing an account and so forth along those lines. With the same name they cant hit you with sharing, but if your botting account does get hit, and you have traded gold with your main account, or anything interacting between the two then you can have your main hit.
