Does pickpocket still works?

just tried it out and the profile only makes like 100g/h
bad profile, or nerfed in general?
 
It still work yes. Where it works best is another question. If you are interested in gold making from consistent pickpocket runs check ownedcore for private profiles. 1k/hr+. Good luck

May have been some 1K an hour profiles in the past. Now with so many rogues, you will be lucky to get 100g per hour. Don't fall for the scams.
 
Haven't seen too many negative replays to the threads recently. But hey you can take a couple hours to to learn to make your own and have one of a kind profiles for life.

I was curious last night if they still work, and tried a good old private profile from OC in a very famous spot (You-know-which) on a Locked-status realm.

For my surprise, it made tons of gold in exactly 4hours timeframe in my test.

Around 4000g from pickpocketing itself + 1900 from vendoring grey items, and I recovered it once after stuck - so it lost 2-3min downtime or so.

So in the bottom 1500g/hour is more than decent.

I tested the population from time to time, and there was 4-6 lvl 90 rogues in the zone in the start, 2 of them were 24/7 PP bots definitely, havent manually checked the others, but it seems they were using not the same route, because I faced already PPed mobs only occasionally.

For my second surprise, when I turned the bot off, there was no rogues in the zone at all, which was pretty weird, because I have seen these 2 PP bots almost everyday in the last week. Maybe I was lucky and got them in their small downtime window, or they just have been hit.

P.P Just checked the zone, there are 2 fresh rogues with similar names there, so prolly they just got hit :D
 
You gotta get real creative now if you find a spot, can't depend on the one cluster of stationary mobs anymore because people have sold them all off not caring how many people use it even though they promise a 1 person per realm.

Lets keep it real. If someone ask me which server I play on, would I give them the real answer? Odds are no. Therefore no one has any real idea where the profile is being ran. "I only sell it to one person per server" = sales pitch. And who is to say they don't run it on 50 other servers the next day? There is a good chance people will lie to you when they have something to gain from it, like MONEY.

Im one of the rare breed of people living off the honor system "A man is only as good as his word" Guess gold and $ is the exception.
 
Things are getting a little heated in here, pickpocketing will probably see a major nerf next expac with boxes dropping only silver not gold. Don't quote me though it might not.

Who cares what they nerf. If they nerf Pick Pocketing, we will just find something else.
